Are you a fan of grilled cheese? I am, and have been since I was a little girl stuffing French fries into mine… lol.
Did you know that April is National Grilled Cheese Month (and April 12 is National Grilled Cheese Day)?
Well, for me there is no better excuse than to enjoy a crusty, melty grilled cheese sandwich. So when the folks that make Sara Lee® Artesano™ bread wanted me to make one for you, I had to say yes!
Sara Lee® Artesano™ bread is extra thick and soft and can make any ordinary sandwich seem extraordinary. And that is what my Sriracha Grilled Cheese with bacon is!
It’s a little spicy (or a lot if you want to add more Sriracha), gooey, cheesy and delicious. And when you use Sara Lee® Artesano™ bread the hearty Italian slices will hold strong. It really helps take the sandwich to the next level.
Sara Lee® Artesano™ bread is delicious and soft textured. It has a gold crust and is perfect for recipes for Paninis and bread based desserts like bread pudding.
You can find it in your local grocery store for an average of $2.99 and it’s on Rollback at Walmart until 7/13/2016 (so make sure to look for it next time you’re there).
As for my Siracha Grilled Cheese with bacon, this sandwich makes a perfect lunch or even dinner paired with a simply salad or soup. Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bread makes it hearty and a meal everyone will love. You can easily adust the heat of the Sriracha by adding a little more or less to the butter mix (or serve it on the side by itself and let the family drizzle it onto the sandwich.
Do you have a favorite “fancy” grilled cheese? Or do you just like it old fashioned?
